He is a lifelong public servant, having served 22 years of active military service in the United States Army and, upon retirement, founded a nonprofit organization that served veteran entrepreneurs for over a decade in Boston. Lou then moved to Washington D.C. to lead the Nation’s largest Veterans Service organization on Capitol Hill and the White House as Executive Director of the American Legion in Washington D.C.
